The Madison Hodges Award was created by U:SA to honor the memory of the late Madison Hodges (1947 – 2014).  Madison was Manager of WQCS in Ft. Pierce, Florida, worked as project manager for the Public Telecommunications Facilities program (PTFP) and as NPR’s Director of Policy and Station Services. He then served as Executive Director and on the Board of the University Station Alliance.

The U:SA Board of Directors has established a fund to assure that the annual cash distribution for the Madison Hodges Award will continue. You can honor Madison’s memory while helping U:SA recognize a public media colleague who has made significant contributions to our industry by joining others who have given to support this award.
